Do I bring my parent to go look at a house?

My husband and I both in our 30’s and both men, want to go look at a house to potentially put an offer on. Is it weird to bring my father? He’s very smart, used to do plumbing, and a great guy to point out pros and cons. Please be honest. I feel weird because I’m in my 30’s and should know how to do this myself lol
