Lifetime warranty on plumbing

Hey Reddit 🙂

I am in the market to replace my cast iron pipes in Florida. One of the offers includes a lifetime warranty and is for the CIPP product. The salesman mentioned this would add about 50k value to our home should we choose to sell it in the future, as the warranty IS transferable.

My question is… is this accurate? The estimate from this particular company is significantly more, understandably. I know plumbing in Florida can be a nightmare so I definitely see the appeal.

I would love any input you may have for a first time, clueless homeowner.
