Potential selling agent wants me to sign a listing agreement before they’ve even looked at my house, is this normal?

So I have a home I’d like to sell soon, I spoke with an agent good reputation. We talked a couple of times on the phone, this agent has not yet gone to view my property. Yet they have sent me a listing agreement and are asking me to sign it. This agreement stipulates I would be in an exclusive relationship with them until sometime in the fall. We have not talked Potential sales price, what kind of work would be needed in their opinion on the property, etc.

Is this normal?

Edit: I’d prefer to have his best idea about what kind of work I should do and what type of sales price we might expect before signing
