Weddington Way, a San Francisco-based online bridesmaid dress shop, has opened inside the Banana Republic at Highland Village, 3922 Westheimer. Weddington Way uses a “virtual showroom” to allow brides and their bridal party – often spread out across various cities – to shop for dresses regardless of their location. Gap Inc. owns the Weddington Way and Banana Republic brands.
Aldi plans to open a store in the former Hancock Fabrics at 16701 El Camino Real in the Clear Lake area in early summer. The discount grocer will be at Bay Area Boulevard and El Camino Real, between Kroger and H-E-B. The new southeast Houston location will add to 36 local Aldi stores.
